Victory Gardens Theater, recipient of the 2001 Tony Award for Regional Theatre, has been creating new works for the American stage for 30+ years. In 2006, Victory Gardens renovated the historic Biograph Theater into a state-of-the-art, 299-seat live theater, with an events room open to community groups. VGT still maintains its original four-theater complex at 2257 N. Lincoln, now called the Victory Gardens Greenhouse.
